Mary Massa
Owner and
Master Esthetician
Owner Mary Massa became a licensed Master Esthetician in Virginia nearly a decade ago, completing 1,200 hours of esthetic training and education. She has honed her craft in a variety of professional spa settings, including hair removal spas, organic spas, and med spas, and even practiced esthetics in Guam, working with clients from all over Asia!
Mary always envisioned bringing a comprehensive menu of esthetic services to the community. In December 2022, she realized that vision by opening Emerald Wellness Spa in the Tampa Bay Area where she specializes in customized facials, full body and facial waxing, lash lifts, eyebrow laminations, and more! In her free time, Mary enjoys cuddling with her two cats and dog, indulging in all things Taylor Swift, tending to her plants, and taking a Pilates class on the weekends!
Tessa
Licensed Esthetican
Tessa is a licensed esthetician with a passion for helping others feel confident and radiant in their own skin. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to every treatment, combining expert care with a genuine dedication to her clients’ well-being.
Her goal is to create a relaxing, personalized experience that supports both skin health and self-confidence. Outside of the spa, Tessa enjoys exploring local thrift shops, trying new sushi spots, and taking road trips. She’s also a devoted cat mom and values balance, creativity, and authenticity in all aspects of life.

Maddie
Licensed Esthetican
Born and raised in Tampa, Maddie recently transitioned into esthetics and has a true passion for creating deeply relaxing, customized treatments. She especially loves working with dry and sensitive skin and focuses on helping clients feel restored, cared for, and at ease
When she’s not in the treatment room, you’ll find her soaking up the sun, paddle boarding, or cuddled up at home with her two cats and a good movie
Madison
Spray Tan Artist
Madison is a spray tan artist here at Emerald, known for her eye for detail and her warm, welcoming energy. Originally from Michigan, she grew up helping her mom in the salon and later gained hands-on experience working in a spa, where she learned the importance of client care and creating a relaxing environment. Those skills now shine through in her spray tans, leaving every client with a flawless, confidence-boosting glow.
Outside of the spa, Madison is a marketing student at Eckerd College. When she’s not studying, you’ll likely find her at Pilates, line dancing, hanging at the beach, sipping coffee, catching live music, or modeling—she’s always up for something fun and creative!
Giovanna
Assistant Spa Manager
Raised in sunny California and having spent a few years soaking up the mountain air in Colorado, Giovanna has always loved being surrounded by natural beauty. Her outdoorsy spirit shows up in everything she does—whether it’s hiking a new trail, exploring local spots, or chasing sunshine whenever she can.
Now calling St. Pete home, she brings that same grounded, go-with-the-flow energy to Emerald as our amazing Front Desk Coordinator. She keeps us organized, on track, and always feeling supported. On Sundays, you can also catch her at Thirsty First during brunch—serving smiles and good vibes.
June
Spa-w Pup
June is more than just a pretty face—she’s a registered emotional support and service dog who brings calm, comfort, and joy to everyone who walks through our doors. As Emerald’s official greeter and resident cuddle expert, she’s always ready with a wagging tail and gentle presence to help clients feel right at home.
When June isn’t “on duty” (which usually includes lots of napping on the job), she’s living her best dog life—sprinting at full speed, digging holes, and snacking on her all-time favorite treat: apples! She also has a soft spot for pup cups from Dunkin and loves snuggling up with one of her many plush “babies” from her growing Lambchop collection.
Arianna
Spray Tan Artist and Spa Manager
Ari is the heartbeat of Emerald Wellness Spa, keeping everything running seamlessly while bringing her artistry to every spray tan. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, she’s known for her attention to detail, warm personality, and dedication to creating a flawless, natural-looking glow for every client. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her, and her clients love that she turns every spray tan into a fun, comfortable experience. Outside of the spa, Ari is all about family, beach days, and spending time with her two beautiful, fluffy cats. She’s also a lover of crisp Coca-Cola and Dunkin’ caramel iced coffees—her go-to pick-me-ups that keep her shining as bright as the tans she creates.
Ashley has been a licensed massage therapist for over 10 years, bringing a decade of experience, intuition, and care to every session. She specializes in full-body relaxation, deep tissue, sports massage, and prenatal massage tailoring each treatment to meet your body exactly where it is.
Her approach blends therapeutic precision with a calming presence, making her sessions both results-driven and deeply restorative. When she’s not in the treatment room, Ashley is at home curled up with a good book, surrounded by her four dogs and two cats. She’s an ocean lover, true crime enthusiast, and never says no to a good iced chai latte. Book with Ashley and let your body exhale.

With 4 years of experience in customer service, Lexi truly shines when it comes to connecting with people. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know our clients and building long-lasting, meaningful relationships that make everyone feel right at home the moment they walk through our doors.
One day, Lexi hopes to attend school to become a licensed esthetician and we already know she’s going to be incredible. When she’s not at the spa, you can find her taking her dogs to the park, spending quality time with her family, or heading out for a girls’ night on the town…with an espresso martini in hand, of course!

Waxing
Emerald takes a holistic approach to wellness - focusing the mind, body, and spirit in all treatments and services. This includes moments that may not be so relaxing, as well.
Emerald Wellness Spa uses is an organic, clean, cocoa-based wax. This means that it is free of the majority of allergens as well as a cruelty-free product - which makes it the best wax to represent our brand!
