Mary Massa
Owner and
Master Esthetician
Owner Mary Massa became a licensed Master Esthetician in Virginia nearly a decade ago, completing 1,200 hours of esthetic training and education. She has honed her craft in a variety of professional spa settings, including hair removal spas, organic spas, and med spas, and even practiced esthetics in Guam, working with clients from all over Asia!
Mary always envisioned bringing a comprehensive menu of esthetic services to the community. In December 2022, she realized that vision by opening Emerald Wellness Spa in the Tampa Bay Area where she specializes in customized facials, full body and facial waxing, lash lifts, eyebrow laminations, and more! In her free time, Mary enjoys cuddling with her two cats and dog, indulging in all things Taylor Swift, tending to her plants, and taking a Pilates class on the weekends!
Tessa
Lead Licensed Esthetician
Tessa is a licensed esthetician with a passion for helping others feel confident and radiant in their own skin. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to every treatment, combining expert care with a genuine dedication to her clients’ well-being.
Her goal is to create a relaxing, personalized experience that supports both skin health and self-confidence. Outside of the spa, Tessa enjoys exploring local thrift shops, trying new sushi spots, and taking road trips. She’s also a devoted cat mom and values balance, creativity, and authenticity in all aspects of life.

Maddie
Licensed Esthetician & Nail Technition
Born and raised in Tampa, Maddie recently transitioned into esthetics and has a true passion for creating deeply relaxing, customized treatments. She especially loves working with dry and sensitive skin and focuses on helping clients feel restored, cared for, and at ease

When she’s not in the treatment room, you’ll find her soaking up the sun, paddle boarding, or cuddled up at home with her two cats and a good movie
Ashley
Lead Licensed Massage Therapist
Ashley has been a licensed massage therapist for over 10 years, bringing a decade of experience, intuition, and care to every session. She specializes in full-body relaxation, deep tissue, sports massage, and prenatal massage tailoring each treatment to meet your body exactly where it is.
Her approach blends therapeutic precision with a calming presence, making her sessions both results-driven and deeply restorative. When she’s not in the treatment room, Ashley is at home curled up with a good book, surrounded by her four dogs and two cats. Sabrina
Licensed Massage Therapist
Sabrina is a licensed massage therapist who has been helping clients feel their best for almost 10 years. A Florida native and devoted mother of two, she brings a nurturing approach to every session, combining therapeutic techniques with a calming touch to create treatments that are both effective and deeply relaxing. She specializes in relieving neck and lower back pain through customized therapeutic massage, including deep tissue, cupping therapy, and prenatal massage. Her goal is to provide lasting relief while creating a peaceful experience that supports both physical and mental well-being. Known for her compassionate care and attention to each client's unique needs, Sabrina is passionate about helping people move with less pain, less stress, and greater comfort in their everyday lives.
Ari
Spa Manager and Spray Tan Artist
Meet Ari! Our talented spray tan artist and front desk spa coordinator here at Emerald Wellness Spa. Ari is originally from Pennsylvania and brings so much warmth and personality to our space. She’s incredibly close with her family back home, and when she’s not at the spa, she’s usually spending time with her beloved cats, watching episodes of Love Island, or enjoying her favorite drink — a crisp Coke. Ari’s attention to detail, sense of humor, and dedication to making every guest feel welcome are just a few of the reasons we love having her on the Emerald team. Whether you’re booking your next treatment or getting a flawless tan, Ari’s always here to make your experience smooth, fun, and unforgettable
Emma
Spa and Marketing Coordinator
Emma brings both creativity and heart to the Emerald Wellness Spa experience. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Emma made her way to Florida to attend the University of Miami before continuing her studies at Miami International University of Art & Design, where she focused on marketing and digital design. When she's not curating content or supporting our team at the spa, Emma also serves as the Director of Marketing & Community Engagement for NXT App-so it's safe to say she's always bringing fresh ideas and energy wherever she goes. Outside of work, Emma is always on the move. You can usually find her in St. Pete exploring local markets with friends or hosting cozy dinners with the people she now considers family.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Sarah recently made her way to the St. Pete area and quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of the ocean, the laid-back pace, and the slower lifestyle that surrounds her.
With a background in nursing, Sarah has always had a passion for caring for others. She is now continuing that passion by studying Massage Therapy at the Aveda Institute, expanding her knowledge of healing, wellness, and the body.
When she’s not at the spa or in school, you can often find Sarah inspired by the ocean—creating art and jewelry from driftwood, shells, and other treasures from the sea.

Spa-w Pup
June is more than just a pretty face—she’s a registered emotional support and service dog who brings calm, comfort, and joy to everyone who walks through our doors. As Emerald’s official greeter and resident cuddle expert, she’s always ready with a wagging tail and gentle presence to help clients feel right at home.
When June isn’t “on duty” (which usually includes lots of napping on the job), she’s living her best dog life—sprinting at full speed, digging holes, and snacking on her all-time favorite treat: apples! She also has a soft spot for pup cups from Dunkin and loves snuggling up with one of her many plush “babies” from her growing Lambchop collection.

Emerald Wellness Spa is proud to be a carrier of three incredible skincare brands! Avene, Cosmedix, and offers a wide variety of specialities and treatments to clients giving our costumers a customized spa and skin care experience!
Waxing
Emerald takes a holistic approach to wellness - focusing the mind, body, and spirit in all treatments and services. This includes moments that may not be so relaxing, as well.
Emerald Wellness Spa uses is an organic, clean, cocoa-based wax. This means that it is free of the majority of allergens as well as a cruelty-free product - which makes it the best wax to represent our brand!
