Owner Mary Massa became a licensed Master Esthetician in Virginia nearly a decade ago, completing 1,200 hours of esthetic training annd education. She has honed her craft in a variety of professional spa settings, including hair removal spas, organic spas, and med spas, and even practiced esthetics in Guam, working with clients from all over Asia! Mary always envisioned bringing a comprehensive menu of esthetic services to the community. In December 2022, she realized that vision by opening Emerald Wellness Spa in the Tampa Bay Area where she specializes in customized facials, full body and facial waxing, lash lifts, eyebrow laminations, and more! In her free time, Mary enjoys cuddling with her two cats and dog, indulging in all things Taylor Swift, tending to her plants, and taking a Pilates class on the weekends!

Lead Massage Therapist
Corey's journey into health and wellness began with Reflexology, where her clients were captivated by her healing touch. This passion led her to attend massage school, where she developed a special interest in women’s health and received training in Neurosomatic Therapy. This holistic approach integrates techniques from neurology, osteopathy, and manual therapy to address chronic pain and dysfunction by treating the body's structural, muscular, and nervous systems. With her training in Neurosomatic Therapy, Corey conducted a five-week research project focused on alleviating menopause symptoms, achieving an impressive 75% reduction in her patient's symptoms. Additionally, she specializes in Reiki energy healing and full-body lymphatic drainage. In her free time, Corey enjoys practicing yoga, tending to her garden, and getting lost in a good book.

Waxing
Emerald takes a holistic approach to wellness - focusing the mind, body, and spirit in all treatments and services. This includes moments that may not be so relaxing, as well.
Emerald Wellness Spa uses is an organic, clean, cocoa-based wax. This means that it is free of the majority of allergens as well as a cruelty-free product - which makes it the best wax to represent our brand!
