The Story Behind Emerald Wellness Spa

Owner, Mary Massa, became a licensed Master Esthetician in the state of Virginia almost a decade ago. While there, she worked at some of the best facial and wax spas in the state! Throughout 2020 Mary traveled overseas to Guam and enhanced her craft by working with individuals of all ethnic backgrounds. She then returned to the States in the early Spring of 2021 with the intention of opening her own studio space. After much deliberation, Mary decided to hold off a little longer on her dreams and embarked on a move to Florida to be closer to the beach, sunshine, and her family.
After living in Florida for a year, she decided to revisit the idea of opening her own space after a very motivating and inspiring poolside conversation with a dear friend. From there, Mary's creativity and vision took off!
Emerald Wellness Center
was founded with the vision of a "modern-day fairy cottage" where Mary wants her clients to enter her space and immediately feel a rush of tranquility and peace. Emerald’s special attention to detail and outstanding customer service is what sets this spa apart from other facilities in the Tampa Bay region. Each service and treatment received a unique dose of heart and soul to create the perfect enchanted experience!

Emerald takes a holistic approach to wellness - focusing the mind, body, and spirit in all treatments and services. This includes moments that may not be so relaxing, as well.
Emerald Wellness Spa uses is an organic, clean, cocoa based wax. This means that it is free of majority of allergens as well as a cruelty free product - which makes it the best wax to represent our brand!
